If you are planning an event on (or off) campus, it's important to register your event with the PSU box office.

•If you are charging admission, the box office can provide you with advance ticket sales, both at the PSU ticket office (just inside the main door of Smith Center) and through Ticketmaster.

You can get a form for advance ticket sales at the box office window or in the Music Department office. We also have a pdf version available for download.

•In addition, the PSU box office will provide a ticket seller at the event itself, including all tickets, cash for change, and so forth, for the very low price of $9.50 per hour.

In press release, posters, website, or other marketing materials, make sure that the ticket price you quote reflects the additional $1.50 per ticket charged by the box office/Ticketmaster. There is no way to avoid this cost, and it creates difficulty for the box office when customers expect one fee and end up paying another.

Note: the advance ticket fee is not added to tickets sold at the door.

We strongly recommend that you contact the box office well in advance of your event, as they will also provide certain types of promotion for the events they ticket.
